So I have done absolutely no painting this week. There are a variety of events I could assign blame to, but I think the most important factor is the introduction of Mari0 to my life. This free game is basically the classic Mario game with the addition of the portals from the game Portal.
This seemingly simple addition adds some cool options to the platforming adventure that started it all. Getting past Bowser is a snap if you can just appear behind him instead of having to dodge him and his dastardly fire attack.
Extra fun comes in the form of downloadable map packs. These packs have been created by the community and showcase the outrageous things you can do with the included Mari0 editor.
Pictured below is the "ACID TRIP" level, which is just as confusing and irreverent as it sounds. There are also other map packs that focus more on the portal aspect of the game.
So there you have it! Instead of painting Warhammer I found another great time waster to add to the list.
