Battle in the Streets

To celebrate the end of the semester, my friends and I decided to try out a three way Warmachine battle!  We played the mission in the Collossals book were you have to have the most models in the town square to score a point, and the first to three points won.

The Game:

Round 1:

Croak Hunter tries to take out Corbeau, but fails and is eaten by Tartarus.  Everything else just runs up

Round 2: 

Digmies try to kill my Dawnguard!  They get about 4 and I kill six of them and they flee.  The War Wagon takes out a couple of bile thralls for me and enrages the Cryx player enough to send his guys in to kill it.  Two Bane thralls engage my gryphons, and I kill one of them.  

*I get a victory point 

Round 3: 

Troll player gets ready to go for Terminus, but three tough rolls are passed by the bane thralls so he can't get his Mauler in.  The Digmies don't regroup.  Then Terminus uses his feat and kills a bunch of trolls, getting four souls.  He sends his Leviathan after my one of my Gryphons, but misses his shot.  I then proceed to move Hyperion up and kill two Bile Thralls with my little guns and take 14 damage points off the Leviathan with my black hole cannon.  I also charge one of his Withershadow guys with my gryphon and kill it.

*I get a second victory point.

Round 4: A couple more trolls die to corrosion, giving Terminus some more souls.  Grim manages to snipe Tartarus for me, and his Digmies still don't regroup.  The Cryx player realises that he needs to kill my guys to stop me from winning, so terminus flies up the center and unleashed his spray attack, killing three of my Dawnguard.  He also uses his remaining Withershadow guys to finish off my forward Gryphon.  I respond by having my Gryphon finish off his Leviathan and then getting Hyperion up to shoot the last two members of the Withershadow Combine. With this I had killed enough models to secure my final victory point, so we called it a game.
