I guess I have to keep the posts going to keep my viewers interested. Today I did a quick 2000 point fantasy game to get used to using warriors of chaos. I'm going to be filling in for a friend who can't make it to a doubles tournament due to farming issues, and I get to use the army he made. I boosted it from 1250 point to 2000 by adding some small units: 2 units of axe throwing horsemen, a slaanesh pleasure giant, and two units of seven forsaken. The rest of the army was a couple of wizards in a unit of warriors and two units of five khorne knights.
I was playing against my partner for the tournament's beastmen army, which was basically an eight man minotaur unit (six plus general and battle standard bearer) supported by a couple of other units.
To cut a short story even shorter, we played blood and glory and I won on turn one. His minotaurs failed their frenzy test twice, bsb re-roll didn't help, then charged my scouting unit of marauder horsemen and pursued another five inches. This allowed me double charge (flank and front) with both chaos knight units. I won the combat by nine and ran him down.
Is there a moral to this story? It is hard to say, but I think we both learned valuable lessons from this to use in the upcoming tournament. Don't fail frenzy tests, and use chaos knights to kill everything.
